Brainchild Foundation – Better Tomorrows Program

The Brainchild Foundation is dedicated to paving the way for a brighter future for young individuals affected by brain or spinal cord tumors and their families.

Founded in 2010, their mission is to offer support, guidance, and financial assistance to those in need. By funding educational and therapeutic services, they aim to empower and uplift young minds on their journey towards wellness and healing.

The Brainchild Foundation supports young people affected by brain or spinal cord tumors and their families. Alongside the government support that is offered through NDIS, the GP plans that may be accessed and the rehabilitation teams that are in place Brainchild Foundation has developed the Better Tomorrows Program to ensure all eligible families are linked to support and no young person falls through the gap:

  • They fund free educational and therapy support for individuals up to age 24 post-treatment
  • Eligible families receive financial support packages to access necessary services, including tuition support, therapy and counselling
  • It aims to connect young people to personalised support services and ongoing assistance
  • Referrals can be made by parents, teachers, or healthcare providers
  • Applicants need a confirmed diagnosis and must be aged between 0-24
  • Application requires completion of a form and submission of relevant reports.
